Chris Simon is THE bonehead of the NHL — this guy can’t stop maliciously hurting people and drawing suspensions. The latest incident came on Saturday during the Islanders’ loss to Pittsburgh. Simon took out the leg of Jarkko Ruutu, sending him into the boards. Then Simon decided to dig the blade of his skate into Ruutu’s foot on his way out! Simon was suspended for 25 games back in March for a slash to the face, and now he’s at it again. Simon is getting counseling, but you wonder how much more of this the NHL will take. I have a feeling this bonehead won’t be in the league much longer.
