Of all the boneheaded comments to use as an excuse for a poor performance, Grossman managed a dandy one after Sunday’s thrashing vs. the Packers.  Grossman, who tallied a perfect 0.0 QB rating for the game, admitted that he was not adequately prepared for the game.  He wasn’t ready for a Bears/Packers game, one of the great NFL rivalries?  Yikes.  According to Grossman, the game was ‘meaningless’, so he wasn’t really trying.  Awesome Rex!  That’s exactly what your fans want to hear as your team is heading into the playoffs.  This guy still has a lot to learn.
