Texas Tech linebacker arrested for marijuana possession
Kellen Tillman, a linebacker for Texas Tech, was arrested on Monday for having marijuana in his car. Tillman apparently got in a minor car accident, where he and another car were parked in the turn lane of a street. As an officer approached Tillman’s car, he saw the marijuana inside, and the officer arrested Tillman. The charge was a misdemeanor, and Tillman posted a $750 bond. Tillman could face jail time and a larger fine. You know, if I had drugs in my car when I got in an accident and saw the police coming, I’d probably try to hide it, right? Multiple counts of bonehead here.
UPDATE — Tillman has been suspended indefinitely.
