Former Penn State footballer gets life for murder

Former Penn State footballer gets life for murderEx-Penn State defensive lineman LaVon Chisley was found guilty of murder on Friday and sentenced to life in prison. Chisley was kicked off the football team after the 2004 season for academic reasons, and he’s had terrible problems ever since. Chisley racked up huge amounts of debt and had 2 kids, and the murder was of a drug dealer who Chisley thought would have a lot of cash in his apartment. Apparently Chisley stabbed Penn State senior Langston Carraway 93 times! The family and the defense in the trial is trying to play the race card because of an all-white jury, but Chisley’s DNA was found all over the scene. It’s really amazing what can happen to ex-college stars who don’t make it to the pros.
