Texas A&M coach Franchione under fire for secret income from website

Texas A&M coach Dennis Franchione appears to have violated the terms of his contract by failing to report income from a website of his called CoachFran.com. Apparently Franchione profited over $37,000 from the site over the last 2 years, but he did not report the income to the school…a clear violation of the terms of his contract. Many more details can be found here, but Franchione was already on the hot seat for putting up less-than-stellar records with the Aggies. This infraction will be weighted heavily when considering whether or not to keep him on with the program. If I had that kind of extra income coming in, I’d make darn sure it was being handled properly, because now Franchione’s got some major problems due to his boneheadedness.
