Three Coastal Carolina football players kicked off team, charged with armed robberyYikes, these are some heavy-duty boneheads. After a game on October 14, Coastal Carolina freshmen football players Rickey Johnson, Mario Tynes and Eric Brown Jr. had their car pulled over by police. That wasn’t good — the police found guns, cash, and marijuana in the car, and the three were arrested. Why were the guys pulled over? 911 got a call that some guys were waving guns out the window of a car. I can’t tell you how smart that is when you’ve got 3 pounds of weed and $1300+ in your car with you. The players were shortly later found connected with an armed assault. So there went their scholarships, and we’ll see how they face up to the latest charges of burglary and armed robbery.
