Pitt Point Guard Fields arrested for confrontation with officer

I don’t know what this guy was thinking, but he deserves to be in jail for this one — Pittsburgh point guard Levance Fields was arrested Sunday for being a bonehead. He was outside a nightclub having an argument with some guy and being loud. An off-duty officer approached him for the second time, telling him to quiet down, but instead, Fields punched the officer in the chest and tried to take his weapon! Well, another security officer gave him a good tazing and took him down. Levance Fields has been the starting point guard since his freshman season and a big contributor to the team, but now he’s just an idiot. He has a September 24 court date where he faces 4 charges, but he deserves whatever Fields gets after that fiasco.

UPDATE — Fields will only get 9 months of probation, as most of the charges were dropped!
