Don Imus attacks Rutgers women’s basketball
The s**t hit the fan when radio host Don Imus took dead aim at the appearance of the 2006-2007 Rutgers women’s basketball team in the NCAA finals, calling them “nappy headed hos”. No, Don, tell us how you really feel! The interview between him and his executive producer Bernard McGuirk led to the cancellation of his show, with good reason. We’ve heard some boneheaded comments in our day, but what a stupid set of comments he unleashed on national radio.
