Stern reinstates bonehead ref Crawford

NBA Commissioner David Stern has reinstated referee Joey Crawford. You may remember Crawford from going off on Tim Duncan last April for no apparent reason — Crawford T’d up Duncan for laughing on the bench, and then he challenged Duncan to fight in the middle of the game! Classic stuff there. Duncan came back with an expletive and was thrown out, but Stern suspended Crawford 2 days after the incident. Apparently Stern thinks Crawford is ready to hit the court again…is this reinstatement a boneheaded move? Only time will tell!
