Spezio acts up and cut by Cards
As much as this hurts to say… Scott Spezio is a sports bonehead! The Orange County district attorney charged Scotty with misdemeanor counts of:
- driving under the influence
- driving under the influence with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or more
- hit and run
- aggravated assault
- assault and battery
That’s it? That’s all you got? Well apparently the Cardinals had enough. The Redbirds cut the veteran Spezio and are moving on.
“We had heard some things about this,” Cardinals general manager John Mozeliak said. “Ultimately nothing was ever confirmed to the level it was today. To have this warrant put out there, it completely changes the landscape of what we’re dealing with.”
You are getting paid to play a game we all love Scott. Don’t ruin it by doing stupid stuff!
