We all know of Bill Buckner‘s error in Game 6 of the 1986 World Series vs. the Mets, but there’s new evidence that Buckner not only had the curse of the Red Sox working against him, but the curse of the Cubs too!  Upon further examination, Buckner was wearing a Cubs batting glove under his fielding glove!  So, it’s really not his fault for the error — how can you overcome that kind of hex?  Great stuff there — maybe Buckner wasn’t as big a bonehead as everyone remembers him to be!
