Tennis player Stefan Koubek disqualified for rant at official

Tennis player Stefan Koubek disqualified for rant at officialAustrian tennis player Stefan Koubek was disqualified from the Open de Moselle on Thursday after blowing up at an official over a call. During Koubek’s match with Sebastien Grosjean, Koubek made a scene with the supervisor of the match.  The linesman was unsure whether Grosjean’s serve was in or out and called for a replay.  Koubek thought the supervisor should get involved and threw enough “verbal abuse” at him over this minor controversy that he got himself disqualified.  In 2000, Koubek also got disqualified for throwing his racket at a ball boy!  You don’t see too many boneheaded moments in tennis, but Koubek sure has them in him!
