Offerman charges mound with bat!

Remember Jose Offerman? Sure you do. Well now you’ll know him as the guy who charged the mound with a bat! After being hit by a pitch in a minor league game on August 14, Offerman took off for the mound, bat in hand. The catcher, trying to stop him, got hit in the head, resulting in a concussion, and the pitcher broke a finger in the fight. Bonehead Offerman pleaded not guilty to second-degree assault. What an idiot.
