Just a Wie $200,000 gaffe

Michelle Wie, you are a bonehead. One of exorbinant proportions.

At the State Farm Classic Michelle Wie left the course without signing her scorecard. Every stinkin’ match at the professional level you are to sign your card to verify it. But not Michelle. The forgetfullness cost her somewhere between $180,000 to $255,000 and a chance to move into the Top 80 in money winnings for the season.

The 18-year-old, playing her best golf of the year, broke one of the game’s most basic rules: She failed to sign her scorecard before leaving the scoring area.

“I don’t know why or how it happened,” Wie said.

NO DUH!

Wie took no questions before leaving the clubhouse at Panther Creek Country Club. She climbed into an SUV with her parents and drove away.

Can you imagine getting into a car with your parents after that mistake?? Pause for a moment and think about THAT conversation.

Michelle Wie is a BONEHEAD.

Have you ever heard of Trip Isenhour? Neither had we until this story. Isenhour is facing legal charges for “killing” a hawk which is an endangered species.

“It was unfortunate, but there’ll be plenty of time for me to tell my story,” Isenhour said on the Golf Channel’s PODS Championship post-round show Friday, his first interview since news broke that he killed the protected bird Dec. 12.

“It’s one of regret and remorse that it happened, because I’m certainly sorry to hurt a migratory bird, or any bird for that matter.”

Why in the world are you shooting at a bird in the first place? Do you really have nothing better to do with your time? Go practice some golf so we might hear about your for some real reasons instead of some criminal reason. BONEHEAD!!!

Golfer Warren smashes chandelier with club

If he didn’t get hurt by this, it’d be much funnier. Scottish golfer Marc Warren had to go to the hospital Thursday night to get some stitches and treatment for cuts on his stomach, arms, and head. Why? A shattered chandelier fell on him, of course! Warren was taking a practice swing in his room, forgetting about the giant glass chandelier right over his head. He sure destroyed that. The injuries weren’t serious enough to keep him from playing golf today, though! Way to go, Marc.

Sabatini calls out Tiger

Big-mouthed Rory Sabatini was at it again today, calling out Tiger Woods as “more beatable than ever“. Apparently Sabatini thinks the best golfer in the world was lucky to beat him last week at the Wachovia, and he’s going to be the one to take him down this week. Guess what — Bonehead Sabatini got crushed by Tiger immediately afterwards. As if the golf world needed another lesson against the consequences of firing up Woods!

The Jean Van de Velde collapse

Jean Van de Velde is known for perhaps the most spectacular collapse in golf history at the British Open in 1999. With a 3-stroke lead heading into the 18th hole at Carnoustie, Van de Velde needed only a 6 on the par-4 to secure the title. Sounds easy, huh? The bonehead takes out his driver and loses his ball way right, but fortunately it stays dry. Instead of laying up, Van de Velde went for the green, hitting another atrocious shot way right, still in the deep stuff. Van de Velde’s next shot found water in the Barry Burn, and he almost tried to hit it out before taking a drop. Dumb. The next shot went in the greenside bunker, where Van de Velde managed to get up and down for 7. That resulted in a playoff, which he then lost to Paul Lawrie. Next time, play it smart!
